1. Our Commitment
Every PeaceOfferingz item is handmade with care, often one-of-a-kind, and created in small batches. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our work. If something isn't right, we want to make it right. This policy describes how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.
2. Return Window
You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date for eligible items. Requests received after 14 days will not be accepted unless the item is defective (see Section 5).
3. Eligible Items
To be eligible for a return, an item must be:
- In its original, unused condition.
- Free of damage, wear, smoke, perfume, pet hair, or other signs of use.
- Returned with all original tags, packaging, and any included accessories.
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Items returned in a condition that does not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom or personalized items - including made-to-order pieces, monogrammed goods, and items modified to your specifications.
- Smoking accessories that have been used - for hygiene and safety reasons, pipe bags or related items showing signs of use cannot be resold.
- Intimate or wearable items that have been worn or washed.
- Items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase, including most clearance and one-of-a-kind pieces.
- Gift cards.
Because we sell handmade goods, slight variations in color, stitching, and dimensions are normal and are not considered defects.
5. Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from what was described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photos showing the defect or damage and the original packaging.
We will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item. In these cases, we cover return shipping.
6. How to Initiate a Return
- Email returns@peaceofferingz.com within the return window with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for our return authorization email, which will include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Do not ship items back without an RMA - they may be refused.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include the RMA number.
- Ship the item to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- Buyer-initiated returns (changed your mind, sizing, etc.): You are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Defective or damaged items, or our error: We provide a prepaid return label and cover all shipping costs.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service.
8. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receipt.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Depending on your card issuer, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
- If a promo code or discount was applied to your original order, the refund will reflect the discounted amount actually paid.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases of our error or a defective item.
9. Exchanges
Because most of our items are handmade and unique, we generally do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, the easiest path is to return the original (per Section 6) and place a new order. Contact us if you have questions about a specific exchange request - we'll do our best to help.
10. Order Cancellations & Changes
Because we hand-pack and often hand-finish orders shortly after they are placed, cancellation windows are short:
- Orders may be canceled or modified within 2 hours of placement, provided they have not yet entered fulfillment.
- Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled or modified - please follow the return process after delivery.
- Address changes after shipment cannot be guaranteed.
11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We are committed to resolving order issues directly and promptly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most issues - wrong item, missing package, defective product - can be resolved more quickly through our customer service team than through the chargeback process.
Filing a chargeback for a delivered, non-defective order without first contacting us, or after a refund has been issued, may be considered a fraudulent dispute. We document all order communications, shipping confirmations, and delivery receipts and may submit this evidence to your card issuer in response to disputes.
